Ingredients:
• 2 lbs beef brisket point
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1 cup Lorraine's Premium BBQ Sauce Sweet and Smoky flavor
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
• Preheat your smoker or grill to 250°F (120°C).
• Trim excess fat from the brisket point and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Pat dry with paper towels.
• In a large bowl, toss the brisket cubes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
• Place the seasoned brisket cubes on the smoker or grill grate and smoke for 3-4 hours, or until they have a dark bark and are tender.
• In a small saucepan, combine Lorraine's Premium BBQ Sauce Sweet and Smoky flavor. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is heated through and has dissolved.
• Remove the brisket cubes from the smoker or grill and place them in a disposable aluminum pan.
• Pour the sweet and smoky BBQ sauce mixture over the brisket cubes, tossing gently to coat them evenly.
• Cover the aluminum pan with foil and return it to the smoker or grill. Continue to cook for an additional 1-2 hours, or until the sauce has caramelized and the burnt ends are tender and sticky.
• Remove the foil and give the burnt ends a final toss in the sauce. Serve hot as a delicious appetizer or main dish.
